Ways to Give

By online giving – Bank Account (100% minus $0.30 of your gift goes to CHC) using our online payment service above. Be sure to select giving by bank account.

By online giving – Credit Card (97.85% minus $0.30 of your gift goes to CHC) using our online payment service above. Donors can select a purpose for their gift and make it recur if they wish.

By your bank’s bill pay service (100% of your gift goes to CHC): Direct your bank to pay CHC by mailing a check in your name to Covenant Hope Church at 3737 1st St NE, St. Petersburg, FL, 33704.  Such gifts can be made recurring.

By personal check or cash (100% of your gift goes to CHC): Personal checks may be mailed to Covenant Hope Church, 3737 1st St. NE, St. Petersburg FL 33704, or deposited in the Sunday morning offering.  Cash may be deposited in the Sunday morning offering. If the gift is intended for a specific purpose, that may be noted in the “For” memo line of the check. Put cash in an envelope with your name if you want it included on your annual giving statement.

By donating equities (100% of your gift goes to CHC): Gifts of equities (stocks, bonds, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, and other types of investments that can be bought and sold) can be made by transferring them into CHC’s brokerage account with Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. The only information the donor needs is CHC’s account name and number, which can be obtained by sending an email to info@covenanthopechurch.com.

Donating equities instead of first converting them to cash may benefit the donor by avoiding the need to pay capital gains taxes. CHC will benefit by receiving the full current value of the equities instead of the after-tax proceeds from their sale. CHC will immediately sell the equities and will receipt such gifts at their market value at time of transfer.
